The WNBA got a boost when Tyra Banks signed to star in "Honey Thunder Dunk", a "Tootsie" retread set on a women's basketball court. The Disney TV movie follows a male player who can't make the NBA but dresses as a woman and becomes a star in the WNBA. The problems arise when he falls in love with his team's star guard. Since the film will be airing on ABC's "The Wonderful World of Disney", you can bet that the final revelation scene won't take place in the locker room.
